Monday 27 Sept 2010 EMERGENCY SERVICES TRAINING

For this meeting we will be meeting at Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center at the campground. This meeting we will teach you how to set up a camp and even start a fire. You will need the following.
1) A tarp 6×8
2) 50′ of nylon rope
3) Matches with a waterproof container and striking surface (NO strike Anywhere)
4) Flash Light
5) Whistle
6) Pocket Knife (Lock Blade type is best)

Also please start working on your Personal First Aid Kit. (Recommended items)

Antiseptic Cleansing Pads, Antiseptic ointment, 6 Band-Aids various sizes, Moleskin, 2″ x 4′, Roller Bandage, 4 gauze pads 4×4, 1 Triangular Bandage, First Aid Tape

Before buying anything look around the house and see what you already have.

1) Our meetings will now run until 2130. If you need to leave at the old time of 2100 hrs let your CADET STAFF know. They will make sure you are ready.

Lost Man Emergency Service Training

A note from the Commander

Our meeting will start in this form – At 7:00PM or 19:00 hrs – Cadets and Senior members will be seated in meeting room – A call to order will bring unit to attention to recite the pledge to the flag to be followed by the cadet oath and the core values. Any news or announcements will follow. This will conclude our assembly. At that point cadets and Senior members are free to move on to their unit commanders, and duties . Note : We will not recite the safety pledge . Also to add, Most all our Senior members have had S.L.S. -Squadron Leadership School and are very much aware of how to conduct themselves in and assembly , Whether in civilian or military attire. I expect these new procedures to come in to play at early Monday meeting 19:00 hrs ,16 Aug. 2010 . Thank you for the cooperation of all involved in building our cadet and senior unit strong.

Emergency Service Training Meeting

This months Emergency Service training will be held at Charlie Elliott
Wildlife Center (http://www.georgiawildlife.com/node/694). We will be
working on finding lost person(s). We will meet at Charlie Elliott
Wildlife Center at 1900 (7pm) and should be done about 21:30 (9:30 pm)
I will have more information on Monday. Just want to give everyone a
heads up.

SUI Inspection

The SUI Inspection went great. We have a few thing to work on but we are ready to rock and roll. Thanks to the IG team for taking time out of their week to get this done.
